LASER WORKING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform safely laser working with high accuracy by controlling a beam head by a control device based on the distance between the beam head and a material to be worked detected by a distance sensor of a back pressure type and providing an output locking circuit which locks the output of the distance sensor. CONSTITUTION:A distance sensor 19 of a back pressure type which measures the distance between a beam head 3 of a laser working device and a material 5 to be worked in accordance with the back pressure of the gas ejected toward the material 5. A control device 18 maintains the distance between the head 3 and the material 5 at a predetermined specified value in accordance with the output from the sensor 19. An output locking circuit 25 locks the output from the sensor 19 when the output from the sensor 19 changes suddenly beyond the range permissible for laser working.
