PURPOSE:To provide a mobile fan forced heater that is efficient with less electricity consumption and has a smaller number of component parts by limiting the rate of gas induction and/or gas delivery to be less than the capacity of gas induction and delivery. CONSTITUTION:The area of opening of a gas inlet 6 is limited to be less than the gas induction capacity of a rotating body 8. Because of this, a decompression state develops in the rotational range R of the rotating body 8, and the differential pressure between the interior of a chamber 5 and the ambient air gradually becomes larger but reaches a balanced condition at a certain differential pressure. Under this balanced condition, the air stagnation phenomenon develops in the rotational range R of the rotating body 8, and, as the friction action between the rotating body 8 and the stagnant air is continuously repeated, the temperature gradually becomes high. The warm air heated by such friction heat passes through a very narrow gap (g) and is delivered from a delivery port 7 to an outlet 3 to be blown into a room. By setting the area of opening of the delivery port 7 to be smaller than the delivery capacity of the rotating body 8, it is possible to further raise the temperature of the blown air. |
