PURPOSE:To repair a worn claw part surely and easily by engaging a strap made of copper with the inner face of claw part on the open end of a joint of a steel sheet pile having worn joint part and building up using a welding rod of small diameter. CONSTITUTION:The steel sheet pile 1 is held vertically so that the open face 2 of the joint 2 is positioned in the upper part. A strap 4 made of copper is engaged with the inner face of worn claw part 2b of the open end of the joint, and the tip 4a is brought into contact to form a build-up guide face 4b. This guide face 4b is built up 5 by specified welding current and welding voltage using a welding rod of less than 1mm. in diameter. Then, the strap is slid, and other necessary part is built up, and build-up repairing of all worn parts of the claw part is executed. |
