摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an optimum split of a wound steel belt by putting a split-slated point when the defective length occurring in the inspection line exceeds a specified value, cutting the belt here if the succeeding belt is satisfactory, and changing the slated point if unsatisfactory when the slated point reaches the front of a shearing machine. CONSTITUTION:When a defect occurs during the inspection of a wound steel belt and the defective length XF exceeds the mixing-allowable defective length alpha, a split-slated mark is once put at the split-slated point A being out of a standard to make the slated point A a temporary split point, and when the point A reaches the direct front of a shearing machine, whether the surface characteristic of the wound steel belt is satisfactory or unsatisfactory in the succeeding detectable range LK is judged, and if satisfactory, the belt is sheared at the point A, this portion is wound as an unsatisfactory coil, and the portion subsequent to the point A is wound as a product coil. If the portion subsequent to the point A is out of a standard the split mark at the point A is canceled and is changed to a point B. This operation is repeated to wind the wound steel belt as the product coil as much as possible, and if a defect occurs, the defective coil can be wound in large coil unit weight to the utmost.
