PURPOSE:To improve positioning accuracy and enable screwing to be continuously effected by constructing the captioned device so as to place a work on a base via a template having a work positioning hole and to remove the template after an automated screwing operation. CONSTITUTION:A base 12 and a template 13 of a work to be assembled are placed on a fixedly positioned platen 10 along a guide pin 11. Then, the work 14, after moving to a fixed position and stopping, is inserted into a positioning hole 15 in the template 13 by the operation of a robot (not illustrated). Subsequently, a screw supply device and a screwing device (not illustrated) are operated for screwing the work and allowed to fix the work. After completion of the screwing, the captioned device moves to the next station to remove the template 13 from the base 12. With such constitution, positioning is facilitated with high accuracy while allowing continuous screwing to be conducted. |
