PURPOSE:To improve durability while reducing the cost by forming the main parts of an equal speed joint only by a pair of joint members, a holder, and a rotary body. CONSTITUTION:Each of a pair of joint members 1, 1' has two projected parts 2, 2' respectively, which, in turn, have two planes 4, 4' parallel to the shaft part 3, 3' of the joint member 1, 1', while having spherical-faced projections 5, 5', the ends of which form spherical faces, on a central shaft. A holder 6 has four arms 7 radially provided in its central face perpendicular to a rotary shaft, two plane parts 8 between which the central face is interposed, are provided on the arms 7, and a hole 10 for a roller-type rotary body 9 is combinedly provided on the plane parts 8, and two semicircular block members 11 are loosely fitted in gaps created in the hole 10. In the central part of the holder 6 are provided two inner spherical face guides 12, 12' centering around points O', O'' which are positioned a certain distance (d) apart from each other on the both sides of the central face including the arms 7. |
