PURPOSE:To enable continuous grinding of a plurality of twisted grooves, in a stepped drill grinder, by constructing such that the inside spindle is shift rotated for every cam cylinder through rotation of sleeve. CONSTITUTION:A collet chuck 17 for gripping a work is provided at the tip of spindle 18. Screw feeding of different leads is provided to the small and large diameter sections of work while utilizing different lead master cam cylinders 15, 16. Consequently, stepped drill having twisted groove of preferable twist angle can be grinded continuously with correspondence to the diameter. Rotation of a quil sleeve 14 provided between the quil body 26 and an outer cam cylinder 15 will cause shift rotation of inner spindle 18 together with the cam cylinders 15, 16. Consequently, a plurality of twisted grooves can be grinded continuously. |
