PURPOSE:To prevent overrich of air-fuel ratio at the time of speed reduction by reducing the increase in injection amount in accordance with the degree of speed reduction when such conditions that the injection amount for warming-up is increasing, a throttle valve is closed and that the number of engine rotation is a predetermined value or more are detected. CONSTITUTION:When an engine is running, the value of increase in injection amount for warming-up is read out by a control device 50 based on the temperature of cooling water detected by a cooling water temprature sensor 59, and from the value it is judged whether the injection amount is increasing for warming-up or not. When judged YES, it is judged whether the degree of opening of a throttle valve detected by a throttle sensor 70 is zero or not and when judged YES it is also judged whether the number of engine rotation Ne to be detected by a rotation number sensor 29 is lower than a predetermined number of rotation Na or not. When Ne>Na, the rate of reduction is read out from the difference between basic fuel injection amounts of this time and the previous time, and with this rate, the value of increase in injection amount for warming-up in the speed reduction condition is obtained based on a predetermined operation formula. Then according to the value, a fuel injection valve 20 is controlled. |
