PURPOSE:To enable accurate lighting at low temperatures by comprising a phosphor layer formed on the surface of a tube with a phosphor whose specific surface area is specified. CONSTITUTION:In a fluorescent lamp 2 in which a start compensating conductor 2 is formed on the outer surface of the tube and a phosphor layer is formed on the inner surface of the tube, as the specific surface area increases, non-lighting ratio also increases. Therefore, the upper bound is set to 2,200cm<2>/g and the lower bound is set to 1,600cm<2>/g based on the relationship between the film surface of a phosphor and the adhesion strength of the film, then the phosphor is formed within this range. As a result, lighting is ensured even at low temperatures. |
