PURPOSE:To improve the rotating performance by feeding a tape which contains paraffin, phthalic acid ester, nylon and silicon compound on the surface of a commutator to form the thin layer of the compound on the surface of the commutator. CONSTITUTION:A tape 1 of paper or resin which contains at least one of paraffin, phthalic acid ester, nylon and silicon compounds is fed along the surface of the commutator 2. A thin film which has 0.5-200mum of the compound is formed on the surface of the commutator 2. Thus, the sliding property between the commutator and the brush is improved to suppress the production of frictional powder, and to prevent outside organic gas from being adsorbed, thereby improving the rotating performance. |
