GENERATOR OF SPECIAL EFFECT WAVEFORM

PURPOSE:To attain the cut-out of a waveform despite a change of the aspect ratio by limiting the mixture ratio of basic waves of horizontal and vertical cycles after setting the aspect coefficient at a prescribed relation. CONSTITUTION:Triangular waves are generated from horizontal and vertical cycle basic wave generating circuits 1 and 2. These waves are multiplied by aspect coefficients phi1 and phi2 given from an aspect coefficient generating circuit 5 through the 1st and 2nd multiplier circuits 3 and 4. These outputs of multiplication are added together by an adder circuit 6. With respect to the aspect coefficients phi1, phi2 outputted from the circuit 5, phi1+phi2=2 is obtained from the data of a fader. The output of the circuit 6 is compared with the fader data by a waveform producing circuit 7 to obtain a special effect. Both the maximum and minimum levels of the output of the circuit 6 is fixed (+ or -2) despite a change of the aspect data. Thus it is possible to take out a waveform with operation of the fader.
