LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION of the Invention: A liquid heavy duty laundry detergent composition comprising a suspension of builder salt in liquid nonionic surfactant. To improve dispensibility in automatic washing machines, the composition contains also a nonionic surfactant which has been modified to convert a free OH group thereof to a moiety having a COOH group, e.g., by reaction with succinic anhydride.
