PURPOSE:To improve the resolution of a position without decreasing the maximum rotating speed by coupling the first and second position detectors with an induction motor, and detecting the absolute position and the minimum resolution. CONSTITUTION:The first position detector 15 for detecting the absolute position in a mechanical range corresponding to 360 deg. of an electric angle of a synchronous motor 11, and the second position detector 16 necessary for obtaining the minimum resolution as a control system are sequentially coupled through couplings 13, 14 with a synchronous motor 11. When a switch 18C is changed to read out the position of the motor 11 based on the secondary side outputs of the detectors 15, 16, the position of the motor 11 can be accurately controlled by the position data. |
