PURPOSE:To obtain a stable output and to fit the titled sensor easily at the time of mounting by satisfying the length of a magneto-resistance effect element to the track width of a magnetic signal recorded in a rotary drum with a prescribed condition. CONSTITUTION:The rotary drum 2 having a signal track 3 is fixed on a shaft 6 of a motor 5 and the magneto-resistance effect element 2 is arranged oppositely to the signal track 3 and fixed on a motor end plate 6 by a support 4. The signal track 3 and the magneto-resistance effect element 2 are arranged so that the center of signal track width T almost coincides with the center of the length L of the element 2 and the condition of T>L is satisfied. Consequently, a stable output is obtained without exerting the influence of leaked magnetic flux upon the element 2 and the fitting of the sensor is made easy at the time of mounting. |
