PURPOSE:To measure an inclined angle accurately by providing the titled device with a measured substance supporting member fixedly supporting a substance to be measured and a pair of contacts to be vibrated around two axes arranged in parallel respectively. CONSTITUTION:The measuring device has a reference block 25 as a measured substance supporting member. The reference block 25 is fixed on a base block 28 fixed on a base 27 by a bolt 29. The device has also a pair of contacts 65 to be vibrated around two axes arranged in parallel respectively. Since the abutting surfaces of the contacts are abutted to two inclined sides to be measured in said constitution, the inclined angle of the inclined sides can be measured highly accurately and efficiently without influence of the surface status of the inclined sides.
