<p>PURPOSE:To prevent a conductive film from breaking and improve the durability of a coordinate input device by providing a dot space which is transparent and rounded onto the top surface of the detecting plate of the coordinate input device. CONSTITUTION:The detecting plates 10 and 14 of the coordinate input device are constituted by coating insulating plate with resistance films and providing electrodes 16 and 17 to two sides of each film. Further, dot spaces 13 and interposed between the detection plates 10 and 14. When writing is inputted on the detection plate 11 by pressing a pen 18, a divided voltage including XY coordinate information is obtained to detect the coordinate position of the pen 18. The detection plate 10 is composed of a transparent conductive film base 11 and a conductiv film 12, and dot spacers 13 are stuck onto the top surface of the film 12 at specific intervals. In this case, each dot spacer 13 is made of transparent material such as epoxy resin and have the top surface rounded as shown by 13'. This rounding 13 prevents the conductive film 15 from breaking.</p> |
