PURPOSE:To arrange an exposure part in a photosensitive body and to reduce the size on the whole by using an endless photosensitive body, and using a transparent substrate and a transparent electrode layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive body 20 is formed as a flexible photosensitive belt 24 by laminating the transparent substrate 21 made of polyethylene terephthalate, etc., transparent electrode layer 22 made of tin oxide, etc., and photosensitive layer 23 made of known photosensitive material successively. This photosensitive belt 24 is extended between two rollers 25 and 26, an electrostatic charging part 2, developing part 4, transfer part 5, discharging part 7, and cleaning part 6 are arranged successively at the outer circumferential side, and the exposure part is arranged internally. The exposure part 27 consists of a semiconductor laser 28, polygon mirror 30 driven by a motor 29, monomirror 31, and ftheta lens 32. Consequently, a light spot modulated directly by a print signal is generated by the semiconductor laser 28, and scanning exposure from the reverse surface of the photosensitive body 20 is performed to form an electrostatic latent image. |
