The plastic track comprises at least one sliding surface (2) and lateral guides (3) for the skis. It consists of a porous, flexible matting web (1), whose thickness in the region of the sliding surface is 5 to 40 mm and in the lateral region at least 10 mm more than in the region of the sliding surface. In order to assist the sliding of the skis, a spun-bonded fabric is preferably welded or bonded to the surface of the matting web (1) as a sliding surface (2). Lateral guiding elements in the form of a truncated pyramid or cone or of a hemisphere can be provided every 5 to 30 cm as lateral guide (3). <IMAGE>
