<p>PURPOSE:To rationalize works in a hospital, by annularly connecting sections which transmit and receive intrhospital information with a transmission line and transmitting information together with peculiar address codes from each section, and then, receiving the information by means of a section which discriminates its own address code. CONSTITUTION:Sections which transmit and receive information in a hospital, such as office (a), central laboratory (b), etc., are connected to an annular communication line L. The office (a) is set as a main station 4 and a mail terminal 6 and high-speed printers 7 are provided to the office (a) in addition to a mail file 8 which is provided for busy business times. The other sections are set as local stations 5 and mail terminals 6 are installed to them. Printers 7 are also provided to the local stations 5 where necessary. Each section has its own code. At each section a slip on which an address code and information are written is inserted into the mail terminal 6 and sent out to the communication line L after the code and information are read. When detecting its own code, each section reads out the information and receives the information by means of the printer of the mail terminal 6, its own high-speed printer 7, or mail file 8. When such arrangement is made, works in a hospital can be rationalized.</p> |
