Casting apparatus comprising an oscillating casting cylinder (18) enabling, by means of a simple mounting and after a prolonged operating time, to obtain the required melting temperatures. To this effect, the resistance heating elements (32, 34) surrounding a crucible (30) are based on MoSi2 and are formed so as to enable a free radiation. Furthermore, the heating elements (32, 34) are bent with an L configuration in their upper part and are hard-soldered, a copper tube (42) being used as electric connection. The casting apparatus has a cover (64) which may be opened or closed in two steps. |
