Process for the liquid/liquid extraction of gallium contained in basic aqueous solutions, by bringing the aqueous solution into contact with an organic phase mainly containing an organic solvent and at least one substituted hydroxyquinoline having the formula see diagramm : EP0000457,P9,F2 in which R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 , R5 and R6 , which are identical or different, are chosen from amongst the group comprising hydrogen and alkyl, alkenyl, cycloaliphatic and aromatic radicals, it being impossible for R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 , R5 and R6 to represent H simultaneously, characterised in that the reaction is carried out under an inert atmosphere.</p> |
