Metallising pistol - with air-cooled light-weight hose leads and connections

The electric wire leads to a metallising pistol are made out of braided copper wire formed into the shape of a tube. These are strengthened inside by spirally wound spring steel wire, and outside by a rubber/canvas hose. The air for atomisation is fed down these tubes to the gun tip and serves to keep the leads cool, making a separate water-cooling circuit unnecessary.
