PURPOSE:To enhance heat sensitivity while maintaining live preservability of a recording material, by a method wherein a water-insoluble binder is incorporated in the lower one of a diazo layer and a coupler layer, and a specified urea compound is incorporated in the coupler layer. CONSTITUTION:The diazo layer comprising a known diazo compound as a main constituent and the coupler layer comprising a known coupler as a main constituent are laminated on a base such as a paper, a synthetic paper and a plastic film. A heat-fusible or thermosoftening substance and known auxiliary components can be incorporated in the layers, and a water-insoluble binder such as a polyester, polystyrene and a chlorinated rubber is incorporated in the lower one of the diazo layer and the coupler layer. Further, a basic substance and a urea compound of the formula, wherein each of R1 and R2 represents a lower alkyl group, are incorporated in the coupler layer in an amount of 1/5-5pts.wt. per 1pt.wt. of the coupler. |
