The invention relates to a damper device for adjusting panning and setting movements of a platform for a camera. This device comprises a cylindrical housing 18 of vertical axis, securely fixed to the tripod and in which a coaxial rotor 24 is rotatably mounted with a small clearance, the said housing being closed in a sealed fashion by a cover 28 and being filled with a lubricating liquid. On the cover of the housing there rests, with interposition of a washer 30 made of a material with a low coefficient of friction, a support part 32 which carries at its upper end the platform 10, the said support piece being securely fixed to a clevis 34, the arms of which surround one end of the rotor or shaft 26 with clearance, which rotor or shaft projects outside of the housing through the cover, a locking element 36 being provided in order to lock the clevis on the said shaft of the rotor. <IMAGE> |
