PURPOSE:To ensure separation of a paper by providing grooves formed on the peripheral surface of a heating roll and thin metallic separating members so disposed as to be fitted in said groove. CONSTITUTION:A heating roll 7' comprises a metallic core 3 made of aluminum or the like, and a heat resistant releasing layer 4 formed on the core 3, and a heating element 6 installed in the central part, and it is arranged in contact with a pressing roll 2. The peripheral surface of the roll 7' is provided with grooves 30, and separating members 9 of a thin metallic plate is disposed so as to be fitted in said grooves 30. These members 9 are formed into plates with nickel chromium steel by considering hardness, elasticity, abrasion resistance, etc., and the 3 plates 9 are arranged at equal intervals on the roll 7' at right angles to the rotational axis of the roll 7'. |
