PURPOSE:To carry the parting material coated on a belt as it is to the interface with a molten metal and to permit easy supply of the parting material by disposing the inlet for the molten metal of a continuous casting device constituted of a stationary casting mold and a belt-type moving casting mold in the position higher than the take-out port for a billet. CONSTITUTION:A casting mold is constituted of a water-cooled belt type moving casting mold 101 and a stationary casting mold 102 facing said mold and a take- out port for a billet is so disposed as to be positioned below a pouring port. The sliding surface between the belt 101 and the mold 102 is limited only to the sliding pieces 102a on both sides of the mold 102. The parting material coated on the belt 101 prior to contact with a molten metal 107 is carried as it is to the interface with the molten metal 107. |
