In a ventilation nozzle (1), in particular for the passenger compartment of a vehicle, a cylinder valve (2) is provided with a roller-shaped nozzle body (4) which can be rotated in the said valve (2) about the axis (3) of the cylinder, it being possible for medium to flow through the cylinder valve (2) transversely to the axis (3) of the cylinder. The nozzle body (4) has at least one enclosed, cylindrical wall section (5) for opening the valve in one direction of rotation of the nozzle body and for closing it in the opposite direction of rotation, and on another circumferential part the said body (4) has a cylindrical adjustable laminar section (6) for adjusting the air outlet direction in the two directions of rotation of the nozzle body. Provided on the nozzle body there is a single, essentially radially extending control lever (10) which is connected to the laminar section (6) via an adjustment linkage (11) and by means of which, upon being actuated in one direction of rotation, a closed valve with laminars (7), which are adjusted in the open direction of the valve, of the laminar section (6) can be opened in any desired valve open position. If the control lever (10) is swivelled in the opposite direction of rotation of the nozzle body, the laminars of the laminar section (6) are adjusted in advance in the direction of the closed position up to a final limit stop before the nozzle body (4) is moved itself into the closed position.
