The crankpin rolling apparatus comprises a multiplicity of pairs of top and bottom arms which are pivotably mounted by respective knuckle pins. These knuckle pins extend parallel to the axis of rotation of the work-holding device. A multiplicity of top and bottom roller holders in each case carry rotatable smoothing rollers. They are fastened to each pair of top and bottom arms. When the multiplicity of pairs of top and bottom arms are closed by pressure actuating devices, corresponding crankpins of a crankshaft are secured in the work-holding device by the top and bottom roller holders, and the smoothing rollers act under pressure on the fillets of the crankpins. The knuckle pins are located on a multiplicity of pivoted members which can be pivoted independently of one another about a holding shaft. The latter is mounted on the frame and lies parallel to the axis of rotation of the work-holding device. A drive device in the work-holding device drives the crankshaft. In the process, the pivoted members perform pivoting movements, and at the same time the rollers of the top and bottom roller holders of the pair of top and bottom arms perform a rotary movement.
