<p>An arrangement for safety belts comprising a detector which senses the unwinding speed of the belt strap with the aid of a reference surface/surfaces arranged on the strap spindle (2) or on the belt strap (1) whereby at least one locking arrangement is activated when a preselected unwinding speed has been exceeded and locks the belt strap to prevent it from unwinding. Another detector senses the acceleration/deceleration/inclination of the vehicle and activates at least one locking when the preselected acceleration/deceleration/inclination value has been exceeded and as a result locks the belt strap to prevent it from unwinding. The arrangement includes a belt take-up detector which may possibly be linked with other detectors for sensing other states.</p> |
