Control circuit for a tailgate

A tailgate, a control unit (19) and a hydraulic assembly (35) are accommodated at the rear of a vehicle. In or near to the driver's cab there is a battery (18) and in the driver's cab there is an on-off switch (15). The hydraulic assembly is connected to the battery via a main current cable (28). The control voltage for operating the control (17) in the control unit is conducted via a voltage supply cable (21) from the rear to the front for the purpose of switching on in the driver's cab and from there to the rear again into the control unit via a control cable (26). As a result, the voltage supply cable (21) is accommodated in the control cable (26) which has to be laid in any case and thus does not have to be laid separately. The control circuit according to the invention can be used on all vehicles where an on-off switch for controlling purposes is to be located at a distance from a tailgate attached to the vehicle. <IMAGE>
