PURPOSE:To facilitate monitor and control of a plant to make a safe operation of the plant possible by using a display device with a touch sensor, a computer, and a large-sized screen to constitute a plant monitor and control board. CONSTITUTION:A computer 3 which takes in process data from a plant 1 edits results of operation processings of these data and transmits them to a screen controller 7, which controls plant information 6 displayed on a screen 5, as picture control data 8. Plant monitor and control image data 10 sent from the computer 3 are displayed on a CRT display device 9. If a touch sensor 11 arranged on the device 9 is touched with a finger 12, a coordinate signal 13 is transmitted to the computer 3, and the computer 3 performs the operation processing of this signal 13; and if a plant control command is detected, the computer 3 issues a plant control signal 14 to control the plant. |
