发明名称 METHOD FOR CLEANING FUEL-REFORMING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To constitute a highly reliable fuel cell generation system by making a reformed gas supplied to the anode of the fuel cell free from minute catalyst particles contained in the fuel-reforming device. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of the fuel and steam is increased by feeding a high temperature fluid through a heating medium pipe 13 which passes through a heat exchanger 14 and by feeding the fuel and steam respectively through a fuel pipe 12 and a steam pipe 13 introduced into the heat exchanger 14. In the heat exchanger 14, the temperature of the fuel and steam is increased while they are mixed together. During this process, the flow rate of steam is higher than (for example 1.5-2 times) that during the rated operation of the fuel- reforming device. When the temperature of the catalyst in the reaction tube 4 is increased by the heat supplied to the reaction tube 4, the reaction gas composed of the fuel and steam flowing through the reaction tube 4 is reformed to produce a reformed gas. The reformed gas is separated into a gas 27 and a liquid 28 in a steam separator 26 and the gas 27 is discharged through an exhaust tube 29. Cleaning of the fuel-reforming device is completed when it is determined by macroscopic observation that the amount of minute catalyst particles in the liquid 28 is below the maximum allowable level.
