In a circuit arrangement for conditioning signals which are fed into a microcomputer for measurement or acquisition purposes, especially with a combination instrument of a motor vehicle, a non-retriggerable monostable multivibrator is provided to which the signals are applied. This monostable multivibrator is used to suppress the interference process which occur during its monostable period. If necessary, a Schmitt Trigger (3) is connected upstream of the monostable multivibrator, by means of which Schmitt Trigger (3) the signals are converted into a form which is suitable for processing using the monostable multivibrator. Under specific operating preconditions, which are present especially in a motor vehicle, the non-retriggerable monostable multivibrator is advantageously replaced by a NAND Schmitt Trigger (7) having a capacitor (9) which can be recharged by means of the NAND Schmitt Trigger via a charging resistor. A negative-feedback resistor (11) is fed back from the capacitor (9) to a first input of the NAND Schmitt Trigger in such a manner that the NAND Schmitt Trigger cannot be triggered by means of a pulse on its second input (6) for so long as its switching threshold is not exceeded while the capacitor (9) is being charged. <IMAGE>
