<p>PURPOSE:To effectively utilize an adsorbent, by guiding vaporized fuel in a fuel tank toward the bottom in the first vapor guide to be diffused inside an adsorbent layer thereafter conducting the vaporized fuel rising along internal and external walls of the second vapor guide to be adsorbed to the adsorbent. CONSTITUTION:If fuel in a fuel tank 205 and a float chamber 202 vaporizes due to a temperature rise of the outside air or the like, this vaporized fuel is introduced into a canister from a tank port 10 and an outer vent port 6. Of the above, the vaporized fuel, introduced to the tank port 10, infiltrates into a tank chamber 12 pressing a tank positive pressure valve 14 to be opened, and the fuel, advancing into an adsorbent layer 3 in the first vapor guide 7, is allowed to both flow toward the bottom and spread in the lateral direction. And the vaporized fuel, colliding against an internal wall of the second vapor guide 8 and the bottom surface of a vessel 1 then changing the flow direction to the upper, is successively adsorbed from the bottom to an adsorbent 3a in a peripheral part and an internal peripheral part of the second vapor guide 8.</p> |
