<p>PURPOSE:To make digitizing and reading of a handwritten graphic etc. more easily by examining white and black around an appointed point and inputting a coordinate point of black parts. CONSTITUTION:A holding stand etc. 5 is held by hand, and a camera head 6 is moved in X, Y directions and a line graphic 3 is pursued while keeping it in a visual field. In this case, a visual field mark that indicates a read area and a filter of the same color with the visual field mark are provided between a drawing 2 and a group of photoelectric conversion elements in the head 6. Images of luminance level of the graphic 3 in a limited area are formed on the group of photoelectric conversion elements. Output of the head 6 is binary-coded by a buffer 12 according to black and white and stored. As for the content of the buffer 12, memory area corresponding to black is reduced and made into fine lines by a reduction arithmetic circuit 13. The picture made into fine lines is given to an arithmetic circuit 14, and a position nearest from the center of visual field of the camera is calculated. In the next arithmetic circuit 15, output from the circuit 14 is converted to absolute coordinate to a drawing table 1.</p> |
