<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording liquid, containing both water-soluble dye and a surfactant giving specific level of foamability, free from clogging even during long-term storage, of outstanding rapid-dryability, free from accidental cut-off of ink delivery, for recording or printing with ink jet system, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective recording liquid containing (A) a water-soluble dye (pref. C.I. Direct Yellow 8, C.I. Direct Orange 6, C.I. Direct Red 2) and (B) a surfactant with such a foamability as to be <=150mm in the foam height of its 1.5wt% solution after 5min determined by Ross & Miles test (pref. oxyethylene-oxypropylene block copolymer). This liquid is preferably used in such ink jet system utilizing pressure.</p> |
