The invention relates to a process for the production of arcuate- or spiral-tooth bevel gears for running tooth systems by means of massive forming in a die, a master wheel first of all being produced and this being used to produce the die. The invention indicates how a precision-forged bevel gear can be finished by grinding following certain methods.
