A tipping system, in particular for a parcel postage conveying system, has a pivotable guide frame mounted on stands in pedestal bearings and a receiving and lifting frame guided in it so as to be raisable and lowerable and/or movable, for handling of a packet roller container. In order to permit the rotation and/or pivoting and simultaneous linear movement and/or raising of the receiving and lifting frame, a ball bearing slewing rim, with a stationary part and a rotatable gear rim, are mounted externally on the guide frame, which gear rim engages with a pinion of a drive motor and with a second pinion which is situated opposite the drive pinion, outside the guide frame on the end of a shaft which is mounted in the guide frame and which supports at least one additional gear wheel which is mounted inside the guide frame and which meshes with a rack on a span of the receiving and lifting frame.
