PURPOSE:A vitamin C pharmaceutical, obtained by incorporating vitamin C with catalase, and having reduced and eliminated mutagenicity and cytotoxicity developed and increased by the reaction of the vitamin C with table luxuries. CONSTITUTION:A vitamin C pharmaceutical, obtained by incorporating vitamin C with catalase, and having reduced and eliminated mutagenicity and cytotoxicity. Any catalase derived from either one of animals such as the liver of cattle or horses or erythrocytes, etc. or plants may be utilized, and the ratio of the catalase to be incorporated may be 5-25 units based on 1mg vitamin C. The catalase is capable of reducing remarkably and eliminating the mutagenicity and cytotoxicity developed and increased by the reaction of the vitamin C with table luxuries, e.g. coffee, black tea or Bourbon whisky. The vitamin C pharmaceutical of this invention can be widely used in food industry and medical fields. |
