Hydraulically actuated, oil cooled lamella coupling (2, 102), for motor vehicles particularly agricultural tractors, working according to the principle of double coupling for loading shiftable gears comprising two parallel power branches, each provided with such a lamella coupling (2, 102), and/or of a plurality of friction clutch couplings provided downstream or upstream. The lamella coupling (2, 102) opens rapidly and reaches quickly a small idle loss moment because the flow of cooling oil, wherein the lamellae (8, 12, 108, 112) are steeped, is interrupted at the opening of the coupling (2, 102) so that the lamellae (8, 12; 108, 112) are dry operated while having a sufficient axial play. Such lamella coupling (2, 102) may further act as a starting coupling so that an additional main coupling between the engine and the gear-box becomes superfluous. |
