The invention is concerned with a conveyor device which by means of a suitable rail design in conjunction with positive steering can dispense with points for going round bends. This device is particularly valuable as a stacking conveyor since a converter is not required when changing from gear to gear but instead the stacking conveyor is steered as desired simply via the rail guide as a straight line and a curve.
