Device for discharging articles packed in cardboard boxes in commissioning systems

Discharging devices in commissioning systems for discharging articles packed in cardboard boxes each have their own drive systems, which is expensive and, because of the number of drives involved, prone to failure. The new commissioning system provides for combination of a multiplicity of discharging devices with their article supply chutes into a single unit and an arrangement, so that they are freely mounted in a horizontal direction, of all the pushing devices which eject the articles from the supply chutes on a slide which is operated by means of a crank mechanism. An electromagnet is also arranged on the slide under each pushing device, near its free end, the said electromagnet being excited by means of a computer-controlled pulse generator and causing the pushing device or devices to adopt their operating or ejecting positions. Cycle times of less than 1.5 seconds can be achieved by means of this very simple and robust device.
