PURPOSE:To arrange power source and IC for drive on the same chip to make compact by mounting an IC chip on the same surface of a current collector of a battery and by making its opposite side flat. CONSTITUTION:A current collecting pattern is formed with aluminum on the surface of a current collecting plate 5 which also serves as a circuit board and a lithium sheet 4 is press-bonded on the pattern, then a separator 3, a current collector (1+2) coated with a positive electrode are stacked in order. The periphery of the stack is sealed by a resistance heating method to form a flat cell unit 16. A circuit board 7 including the IC chip is bonded with adhesive 13 on the aluminium pattern of the same side as the cell unit, then sealed with a molding agent 12. An aluminum wiring pattern is printed so as to connect electrically on the same surface as an IC unit 17, and the IC unit is connected to input/output terminals 15. A battery having a circuit board including an IC chip is used to manufacture very thin calculator by combining with LCD panel and paper-shaped keyboard. |
