PURPOSE:To process the retrieval using plural keywords in a short time by giving one or more keywords and retrieval conditions. CONSTITUTION:A record consisting of, for example, three keywords of age, occupational category, name, or the like and data of address or the like is stored in keyword parts 211-213 and a data part 214 of a record memory 210 through a data bus 201 at a registration time. An address scanning circuit 220 selects stored records in accordance with address designation of the record memory 210. At a retrieval time, three retrieval keywords A, B, and C are stored in registers 231-233 through the data bus 201, and a retrieval condition 241 is supplied to a retrieval condition encoder 240. The retrieval condition 241 is expressed with AND or OR among retrieval keywords A, B, and C, and the encoder 240 converts the retrieval condition to a retrieval condition code to retrieve contents of the memory 210. |
