PURPOSE:To improve quality and yield by pouring a molten metal into a casting mold for rotating metallic seals and forming the outside shape with good run by centrifugal force then cooling the molten metal to allow the same to shrink and removing the casting from the mold. CONSTITUTION:A casting mold assembled by stacking alternately master molds 1 and drags 4 for metallic seals is rotated by a driving roller. A molten metal is poured into the stacked casting mold under rotation and the outside surface of the seals 2 having narrowed parts (b) is formed with good run of the molten metal to the corner parts by centrifugal force. The seals 2 are shrunk by the temp. drop to disengage the same from the molds 1 in the narrowed parts (b), by which the seals 2 are removed from the molds 1. The angular products having good quality are thus obtd. and the yield of the products is improved. |
