PURPOSE:To reduce the load under acceleration thus to improve the acceleration performance by blocking a solenoid clutch through opening of a vacuum switch under acceleration thereby stopping the compressor in an air-conditioner automatically. CONSTITUTION:If the suction negative pressure of suction manifold 16 is high under low load travel or constant speed travel upon connection of a manual system exchange switch 1 with a contact 2, a vacuum switch 7 to be fed with said suction negative pressure through a negative pressure delay valve 18 is turned on to excite a relay coil 9. Consequently, a relay switch 10 is turned on to connect a solenoid clutch 14 thus to function a compressor 13. Thereafter, the car is accelerated to reach to predetermined negative pressure, then the vacuum switch 7 is turned off to turn off the relay switch 10 thus to release the solenoid clutch 14 and to stop the compressor 13 resulting in reduction of engine load. |
