An evaporator coil for an ice cream machine comprises a number of tubular portions (1), side by side and in substantial longitudinal contact with one another, a pair of members (3, 4) abutting the opposite ends of the tubular portions, and a number of cavities (5) in each of the two members, each cavity (5) receiving the ends of two adjacent tubular portions; in this manner each cavity forms a connection for the two portions. Since the various portions are in substantial contact with one another, the coil according to the invention has high refrigerating power with greatly reduced bulk. <IMAGE> |
