PURPOSE:To permit to use air for a clean room or the like, which is required to be air- tight, and retrieve total heat by a method wherein heat retrieving operation is effected after exhaust air is pre-humidified under insulating heat at the upstream side of exhaust air side heat exchanging part of a heat pipe type air heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust air, used for room heating or cooling, is humidified under insulating heat in an adiabatic humidifier by flushing feed water. The temperature Td of exhaust air is reduced from 26 deg.C to 19.6 deg.C, for example, sensitive heat is delivered to the feed water and the inside of the humidifier is kept in an adiabatic condition, therefore, the sensitive heat becomes equal to the latent heat of evaporation, the humidity phiR increases from 50% to 90% by the evaporation of the feed water and approaches the satulation thereof substantially and the temperature thereof approaches a wet-bulb temperature Tw 18.6 deg.C. Next, the exhaust air is cooled by the adiabatic humidifying, enters into the exhaust air side of the heat exchanger and is replaced by fresh air while the fresh air is sent to an air-conditioning machine and the exhaust air is sent to the outside of a room. The sensitive heat is exchanged in such manner and whereby the total heat may be exchanged and the clean room, in which there is no leakage of air, may be formed. |
