PURPOSE:To bring the extent of four-wheel drive performance into full play while avoiding a braking phenomenon at turning, by setting the torque capacity of a hydraulic clutch for a transfer device with these elements of a car speed,a steering angle and accelerator opening, at the time of four-wheel driving. CONSTITUTION:Driving force is directly transmitted to either of front and rear wheels via an engine side clutch 1 and a transmission 3, while it is transmitted to the other via a transfer device 5 having a hydraulic clutch 52. And, in case of low-speed, large turning steerage, torque capacity in the hydraulic clutch is made smaller but in case of high-speed small turning steerage, it is made larger. In addition, the torque capacity in the hydraulic clutch 52 is compensated so as to be increased the more, the larger in accelerator opening. |
