Sulfonylurea derivative of the general formula DSO2NHCO@A wherein D is substituted phenyl, benzyl or phenoxy; R is H or CH3; and A is a selected from specified Mono- or bicyclic heterocyclic groups; and their agriculturally suitable salts, exhibit useful herbicidal and plant growth regulant activities.
